State of the Art Dimensional Verification

  • Micro Star Coordinate Measuring Machine - Model 840-251, with a measuring envelope of 40" x 80" x 25", full DCC capability, and built-in SPC package. The DCC capability allows us to program inspection routines for more consistent inspections and SPC data. The CMM is located in an  enclosed and temperature controlled inspection room.
  • First article samples with numbered inspection reports and drawings are supplied for all new jobs. PPAPs are provided upon request. Real time SPC is performed on critical characteristics.
  • We have a full compliment of hand gages including thread, plug, ring and bore gages. Gages are calibrated on an annual basis. Each job has its own gage list that tells the operators and setup personnel what gages are required and their current calibration status.
  • Our Quality Assurance Program includes extensive process and inspection documentation including receiving inspection instructions, setup instructions, gage lists, in-process inspection instructions and final inspection instructions. All documentation is job specific, not generic.
